About Katy

Hi, I'm Katy (kah-tee).

Every photo on this site was taken by me during my travels around the world. In 2021, I began pursuing a childhood dream of exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to call more than 40 countries home while slowly traveling and discovering the beauty each one has to offer.

Rather than rushing from destination to destination, I take my time to truly experience the places I visit. I often venture off the beaten path and patiently wait for the right light and the right moment to capture each photograph.

Every image you see here has a story behind it. Whenever possible, I share that story in the description of each print so you can connect with the moment when the photo was taken.

I’m especially drawn to places where water meets the landscape; coastlines, harbors, and quiet seaside towns. Because they capture a sense of calm that I love sharing through my photography.

My hope is that when you display one of these prints in your home, it brings a sense of calm and transports you into the scene; as if you were standing there with me when the photograph was captured.
