It took about 300 steps to reach the top of these stairs from Amoudi Bay. Less than a minute into the ascend up to Oia my husband and I ran into the first roadblock - the famous Santorini donkeys. We navigated past these precious animals and continued on the slow hike up to the top. Once we reached the top and caught our breath, we were rewarded with this marvelous sight.
