Location: Castello di Arechi overlooking Salerno on the Amalfi Coast in Italy
High above the coastal city of Salerno, the historic Castello di Arechi rises from the hillside overlooking the harbor and the deep blue waters of the Mediterranean. From the port below, the castle stands watch over the city, its ancient stone walls framed by lush green hills and the bright Italian sky.
Standing along the waterfront, the view of the castle perched above the coastline immediately draws your eyes upward. The contrast between the centuries-old fortress and the shimmering sea below creates a scene that feels both dramatic and peaceful at the same time.
Moments like this remind me how deeply history and landscape are intertwined along the Italian coast, where centuries-old structures still overlook the same waters that travelers admire today.
This photograph is part of my collection of peaceful coastal moments captured while traveling the world. My hope is that when you display this print in your home, it brings a sense of calm and transports you to the moment it was taken.
Available in 3 Landscape sizes: 20x30, 24x36, and 30x40 inches.
