Sarakiniko Greece Lunar Coastline

Location: Sarakiniko Beach on Milos in Greece

The bright white rock formations of Sarakiniko Beach create one of the most unique landscapes in Greece. Smooth volcanic stone curves toward the water, giving the coastline an almost otherworldly appearance. 

Walking here felt like exploring another planet. The wind and sea have slowly sculpted these formations over centuries, carving out caves, ridges, and hidden swimming spots along the shoreline. 

Under the soft light of an overcast sky, the contrast between the white rock and deep blue water made the scene feel even more surreal. I am sure this is the closest feeling I will have to walking on the moon. 

This photograph is part of my collection of peaceful coastal moments captured while traveling the world. My hope is that when you display this print in your home, it brings a sense of calm and transports you to the moment it was taken.
