The mountains in Kazbegi, Georgia are a piece of art! We've never been to the Swiss Alps, but as I sat there at the top of a hill, surrounded by the Caucasus Mountains, this is what I imagined it would look like. What a surprising feeling, because I was in the unexpected country of Georgia. Stepantsminda is a townlet in Kazbegi.

The ridges of the snow-peaked mountains were so defined against the blue sky. I sat on top of one of the rolling hills, the wind blowing against me, as I marveled at such majestic beauty. This was the region of Georgia I was most excited to visit and it did not disappoint.
